Amy provides specialized legal services to private employers, governmental entities, and non-profit organizations on issues related to employee benefit and executive compensation plans, ensuring compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, the ACA, and other related laws. She represents employers and plan sponsors in state and federal agency enforcement actions as well as conducts voluntary employee benefit plan and fiduciary corrections.
Amy received her J.D. from the University of South Dakota and her Master of Laws in Employee Benefits and Tax from the John Marshall Law School at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
